As we continue towards the celebration of Jesus’ advent this Christmas season, all of us need a reminder about what is most important. In a world filled with the commercialization of Christmas, wouldn’t it be nice to treasure simply Jesus alone?
Today we begin a new series that will attempt just that, and we will start by contrasting the experience of two sets of characters in the infancy narrative: the inn keeper and the shepherds.
Observations & Conclusions:
- The one who treasures simply Jesus will live as if He is the most valuable thing there is
- The one who treasures simply Jesus will saturate their life with Jesus
