September 6th 2026
- Cards for Sam & Cayla: If you have a card, please give it to Sandy today, Sept. 6, or mail it to her address by Sept. 11. On the Welcome counter is a box for cards
- Sowing Seeds Concert: Today, September 6 at the Homestead Baptist Church (2670 County Rd N, Florence, WI), is their Annual Corn Roast and Bonfire. The corn roast dinner is at 5pm, and the concert begins at 6pm. All are welcome!
- Ladies Bible Study Postponed: Jean Panek’s Bible study (slated to start this week) is postponed until later in October. Stay tuned as more info will be posted then
- Youth Group Kick-Off: This Wednesday, September 9 at 5:30-7pm at church (includes dinner). All are welcome, and bring a friend. For more information please contact Jessica Schultz or Sam & Rachel Schaphorst
- A Memorial & Celebration of Life Service for our sister, Coralie Johnson, will be held on Saturday, September 12 at church. Visitation from 10-11am, Service at 11am. A catered lunch will follow, but those who would like to provide a dessert are appreciated. If you can bring one, please let Dawn McDonald know
- Mission Sunday: On September 13 we will welcome Pastor Sreeraj, Nick & Cory Ann Hulce, and the Gideons. A free will offering will be taken
- Leadership Team Meeting: Date Changed to Monday, September 14, at 6pm at church. (Due to the Labor Day holiday tomorrow.)
- Community Meal & Fall Festival: Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 5:30pm Everyone is invited to this evening of food and fun, held at the Community Building and outside. Please sign up on the white board for side dishes and desserts. Enjoy dinner, games, prizes, pumpkin decorating, and more!
- Hearts of Grace Soup-making & Delivery: Friday, Sept. 18 from 9am-12
- Annual Men’s Wild Game Feed Potluck: On Saturday, Sept. 19 at 4:30pm at church, all men are invited to a dinner of wild game and domestic dishes. Sign up at the back if attending and/or bringing a dish. Info: Tom Gursky or Seth Wixtrom
- Food Ministry: The food delivery is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 21
- Fall Rummage Sale: Sept. 25-26. NOTE: Please wait until Sept. 20-23 to bring items, as they cannot be stored until then. Info: Patty Carpenter or Lois Daleen

- Cards for Sam & Cayla: Sandy Carey will be traveling to see our missionaries, Sam and Cayla Schaefer, in September. If anyone would like to write a card to them, Sandy will need the cards brought to church by Sunday, Sept. 6, or received in the mail at Sandy’s address by Sept. 11
