Church Picnic at the Sportsman Club

Church Picnic at the Sportsman Club

Our annual church picnic was another packed occasion. Even though there were isolated rain storms, we still had all except about 6 folding chairs filled with wall-to-wall worshippers as the church was transported from our usual location to the fellowship hall of the Sagola Sportsman’s Club.

In regular impressive fashion, the Lord multiplied the “loaves” in that even though the signup sheet was pretty barren, everyone brought a dish and once more there were leftovers needing to be packed up and ushered home. With 3 songs and our prayers, we started a new series on the The Creeds of the Christian Church and focused on how the Apostles’ Creed was used by the early church in baptism, and how we can reclaim its use and place in our worship services today.

Thank you to all the organizers and volunteers who helped to make this year’s picnic a success!
