Confidence in the Morning

Confidence in the Morning

Living as a person of faith in Jesus is not celebrated in our world today. There is a value system of the world that places “mankind” and our interests and desires (really our own glory) at the forefront as contrasted with the glory of God.

Psalm 5 shows us these two worlds and is outlined by 5 sections of alternating views between the wicked and the righteous; first with an examination of their perspectives on God and secondly with their identifying features and attributes.

Observations:

A. Prayer / Request

B1. The Punishment of the Wicked

B2. The Privilege of the Righteous

C1. The Vice of the Wicked

C2. The Refuge of the Righteous

Conclusion:

Prayer produces protection
