Our church has felt the pain of some unexpected and recent losses. In rallying as a family, we’ve had opportunity to help raise funds for one of our families in their grief by hosting a Bake-sale Benefit and concert with Sowing Seeds. With only about one-week’s warning and advertising we were able to fill 4 tables with baked goods, artisan crafts, and donations that far exceeded anything of our other bake-sale fundraisers.
What a blessing to have the participation of the community around this family and our church along with members from our neighboring churches to show love and generosity during these difficult times. Thanks to our God for His provision and family. Special thanks to everyone who participated, prayed, auctioned, gave, set up and tore down, sang, and served to make this Bake Sale Benefit a success.
