2017 saw a record number of children attending VBS. The theme was Galactic Surveyors with thanks to LifeWay VBS Starter Kit. We had some amazing volunteers and the sanctuary was decorated and built up to look like you were literally floating in outer space: complete with satellites, planets and moons, galaxies, and even a space shuttle!
Our favorite song from the half-dozen the kids learned was “How Far Love Goes,” and we’ve even since incorporated it into our worship set. We would like to extend a great big “THANK YOU” to all our wonderful volunteers who helped to create such a memorable week for our children.
