DCH Love Light in memoriam of “Chaps”

DCH Love Light in memoriam of “Chaps”

In honor of the life and service of Pastor Dave Anderson, who perhaps was better known at the Dickinson County Hospital as “Chaps,” this year’s Love Lights celebration and tree lighting included the dedication of a plaque welcoming all to the Hospital’s chapel.

The short service was attended by many who have lost loved ones this past year, but mostly by those whose lives have been touched by Chaps, who served at the Hospital for over 25 years.  Pastor Dave’s son Seth gave remarks highlighting the special gift Dave had to bring both a atuned sensitivity and lighthearted jovial spirit to all those he ministered to in the hospital.

We are forever grateful that God gave us Pastor Dave Anderson to lead our church and serve as the example of a Christ-follower to all those in the Northwoods of Michigan and Wisconsin, and we are proud that His legacy will live on in memoriam through the Hospital’s generosity and recognition of His service.
