The invisible world around us has been created by Jesus and for Jesus. But its only just recently that our scientists have been able to recognize the fingerprints of the Creator. Their discoveries have made it impossible to deny the sustaining power and delicate design behind God’s creation.
Observations:
- Jesus is God made visible
- Jesus is the creator
- Jesus is the designer
- Jesus is the sustainer
- Jesus is the repairman
Conclusions:
- The creation dwells in dependency on Jesus
- The bridge to reconciliation with God is dependency on Jesus
- Therefore, the church lives in dependency on Jesus as our Captain
Application:
- Make Jesus your Captain
1. Re-examine the cosmos as sustained by Jesus
2. Re-hitch your confidence in Jesus by adjusting how you pray about your problems
