The design of life reveals the wisdom and creative power of our God. To attribute these observations to anything/anyone else is to bring shame upon the Designer. God’s grace has not only given us physical life, but He has glorified His Son to provide us with eternal life as well!
Observations & Conclusions:
  1. God designed life from life
  2. God designed living creatures to reproduce after their own kind
  3. God designed all life with/within integrated systems
  4. God designed life with purposeful influence
  5. God designed life after a principle of reproduction
  6. The life that God designed as good has been cursed by sin, resulting in death
  7. In order to live, all those born into sin must be born again, born of the Spirit of God
    – The Spirit gives life
    – The Spirit of Jesus will reproduce Jesus within you
    – The Spirit fills and claims your entire identity
    – The Spirit leads you onto multiplication
Application:
  1. Honor God with the credit He deserves as Creator
  2. Submit the whole of your life over to the Spirit’s regenerative control

Romans 5:12

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.”

John 3:1-6

“Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.”

John 6:63

“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.”

John 3:6

“Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.”

1 Corinthians 2:12-13

“What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.”

Romans 8:9-11

“You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.”
