There are many voices calling out for our allegiance in our world today. The problem is we can only follow after 1 master. Jesus is up-front and clear about the demands of becoming a disciple, and His challenge from Luke 9 focuses us to ask the question “how committed are we” to following after Jesus?

Mr. Too Hasty: Uninformed / Impulsive

Mr. Too Hesitant: Uncommitted / Indecisive

Mr. Too Homesick: Unsure / Insecure

1. Recusal from Worldliness
2. Abiding Commitment
3. Undivided Loyalty

Jesus makes claim to all of you – ALL OF IT BELONGS TO HIM

Matthew 13:44-46

44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
