This Sunday was both our 1st week back inside the building, and our annual Trunk-or-Treat along with the Fall Festival. And for the first time in recent memory it didn’t snow on the Fall Festival!!!
The overall impression was that this was one of the best engaged Trunk-or-Treats ever! All of the cars handing out goodies did a great job of being festive and fun for a great family time of celebration and mirth.
Of all the unofficial judges that I spoke to, we decided that Donna Nelson had the best Trunk with her live petting zoo and chickens! But congratulations to runner’s up: Donna Cline, the DeWitts, and Marvin and Mary dressed as Ms. Kay and Phil Robertson (respectively)!
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped keep the games fun and safe for the kids and to the parents who put in all the extra time and attention with their children for this fun church family event.
