Today we held our annual church picnic at beautiful Lake Edey. This year we finally crept all the way to the walls of the hall and had to bring up chairs. We almost had to play musical chairs to see who might snag a seat, but thankfully everyone found a spot. Thinking with our large turnout we might run out of food would be to forget how generous everyone was to bring a dish, and once again we had snacks to spare.
A great big thank you and heartfelt appreciation to all those in our congregation who helped to serve, prepare food, and give to each other.
